This occurs when the skin comes into contact with an irritant or allergen, leading to redness, itching, and sometimes blisters. There are two types:

• Irritant Contact Dermatitis (caused by chemicals or harsh substances)

• Allergic Contact Dermatitis (triggered by allergens like poison ivy or certain metals)
